Te Auaha is located at 65 Dixon Street, Wellington CBD, just off Cuba Street.

The Cuba Street/Dixon Street area is a busy and bustling place at night, which can mean traffic and parking queues. We encourage you to allow plenty of time to get to the venue before the event is due to start.

There are also limited on-street carparks available on Dixon Street and Victoria Street.

 

Public Transport

There are multiple bus-stops near Te Auaha. To plan your trip head to the Metlink website.

 

Taxi

With a taxi rank directly outside the doors of Te Auaha, catching a taxi after the show is easy. 

 

Accessibility

There are two mobility parking spaces directly across the road from Te Auaha.


Te Auaha has lift access to every floor, which all have an easily accessible toilet.


If you are coming as a guest to one of our performances please let our friendly front of house staff know that you may have challenges with accessibility, hearing or seeing and they will reserve a seat for you.

The design of Te Auaha uses a bold color pallette to make navigating and finding locations easier for people with visual impairment.

 

Getting into Te Auaha

Te Auaha has one public entrance on Dixon Street, leading straight into the foyer where hosts or security can help you find your way. The gallery is on the ground floor (which also has an easily accessed toilet) and our box office, theatres, bar and cinema are all located on level 1. You can head up the stairs in front of you as you walk in, or come up in a lift.
