POSTPONED (new dates TBC) New Zealand Today: Live!

(Te Auaha - 65 Dixon Street, Te Aro Wellington 6011)

Volunteer journalist Guy Williams is cashing in on the success of New Zealand Today with an exciting new show: New Zealand Today: Live!

MESSAGE FROM GUY WILLIAMS:  New Zealand Today Live Wellington: POSTPONED (new dates TBC)
BAD NEWS I’m sick, so all three shows this weekend are going to have to be postponed. I’ve been up all night with some sort of horrific stomach bug (I’m going to go to the doctor and probably get a covid test)  but whatever it turns out I have, I can’t travel or hang out in crowds or do anything that involves a lot of close contact, which obviously includes these shows.
I’m so so sorry, I feel awful (on multiple levels). I’ve never cancelled a show in my life so this is a real disappointment for me, but isolating and getting checked out is the right thing to do, and I hope you'll understand.
I'm working with the venue (Te Auaha) to make sure everyone who booked is issued a full refund as soon as possible. You'll get an email about this sometime today. I'm also keen to suss some new dates, and, as soon as I have them locked in, I want to give everyone who originally booked for this weekend PRIORITY ACCESS to tickets to the rescheduled shows, so keep an eye on your inbox for exclusive info on how to secure seats.
Sorry for being a pain. Your refunds are on their way and when New Zealand Today: LIVE is ready to return to Wellington, you'll be the first to know.  I really hope you'll all be able to make it - it’s a fun show and Karen and I are really excited to see all your beautiful faces.
 - Guy
From Te Auaha: If you had booked tickets we have already been in touch - please check your email and join us in wishing Guy a speedy recovery ❤️

New Zealand Today is back! To celebrate a second season of New Zealand’s most trustworthy news programme, volunteer journalist Guy Williams is hitting the road for professional as live shows in Christchurch, Wellington, and Auckland!

The show will feature stand-up, behind-the-scenes footage, and most importantly… Karen from Stokes Valley! Infamous for her “20 F****ing Whacks” voice message. Guy spent three years tracking Karen down, only to discover that she was one of his all time favourite people! He’s excited to give the rest of the country a chance to meet a genuine Kiwi legend face to face, with a live “Ask Me Anything!”
